Aussie Crunchy Granola Bars

Looking for a healthy snack recipe? Check out these no-bake, chewy and naturally sweet granola bars made with Aussie Sprouts Crunchy Combo!! These sprouted beans and legumes are high in protein, vitamins & minerals, and are easier to digest. Adding them to granola bars adds nutrients and texture!

Serves: 12

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats 

  • 3/4 cup Aussie Sprouts Crunch Combo  

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter 

  • 1/2 cup pitted dates + 3 tbsp boiling water 

  • Splash of plant-based milk if needed 

  • Optional 1 scoop vanilla protein 

INSTRUCTIONS​:

  1. Mix together oats and Crunch Combo (and optional protein powder) in one bowl and set aside. 

  2. In another bowl mash together date and hot water into paste. Add in peanut butter and combine until smooth. 

  3. Add date mixture into oat mixture. Form a sticky dough. Add a splash of milk if too dry. 

  4. Alternatively, place everything into a food processor or high-speed blender and form a sticky dough to make things easier!

  5. Press batter into a lined tray and refrigerate for 1 hour to firm up. Cut into slices and store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
